Two separate consents

We ask for consent in two distinct places, and you may give one without the other.

• Consent to be contacted about your enquiry — required, because we cannot respond otherwise
• Consent to receive educational updates and occasional marketing — entirely optional

What you are agreeing to

When you consent to be contacted about your enquiry, you agree that a licensed mortgage agent may reach you by telephone, email, or text message using the details you provided, in order to discuss the situation you described.

Marketing consent, where given, covers occasional educational content about mortgage financing in Ontario. It never includes selling or renting your details to a third party.

How consent is recorded

• The exact wording shown to you at the time of submission is stored with your record
• The date and time of submission is recorded
• The page the submission originated from is recorded
• Records are retained as required to demonstrate compliance

Withdrawing consent

You may withdraw consent at any time, at no cost. Use the unsubscribe link in any email, reply STOP to a text message, or email phil@mortgageoutlet.ca. Requests are actioned promptly and in any event within the period required by law.

Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect communications necessary to service an active file, and withdrawing consent to be contacted may mean we cannot continue to assist you.

Identifying information in our messages

Every commercial electronic message we send identifies Mortgage Outlet Inc., includes our mailing address at 85 Scarsdale Rd #107, Toronto, ON M3B 2R2, provides a working contact address, and contains a clear unsubscribe mechanism.

Please do not send sensitive documents

Ordinary email and text messaging are not secure channels. Do not send identification, tax returns, bank statements, or account numbers by these methods. A secure process is provided when your file requires documentation.
